Feria Internacional del libro La Paz 2017 en el sal\u00f3n auditorio Illimani del campo ferial Chuquiago Marka, con la proyecci\u00f3n del documental ficci\u00f3n del ilustre pace\u00f1o Franz Tamayo y una charla que estuvo a cargo del responsable de Extensi\u00f3n Cultural, Edwin S\u00e1nchez.<\/p>\n<p>En dicha oportunidad, se proyect\u00f3 el documental \u00abFranz Tamayo en la Memoria\u00bb un trabajo audiovisual realizado por la UNIFRANZ, Gobierno Aut\u00f3nomo Municipal de La Paz y los familiares de Franz Tamayo, bajo la direcci\u00f3n de Ramiro Duchen. El documental rescata la obra, vida, an\u00e9cdotas y participaciones a nivel nacional e internacional de Franz Tamayo, orgullo boliviano.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/unifranz.edu.bo\/images\/noticias\/2017\/proyeccion-documental-franz-tamayo-lpz\/1.jpg\" alt=\"1\" style=\"border: 1px solid #515151;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Pol\u00edtico y escritor boliviano, elegido presidente de la Rep\u00fablica en 1934. Nacido en La Paz, compagin\u00f3 su vocaci\u00f3n como escritor con la vida pol\u00edtica y fue una personalidad con mucha popularidad. Adscrito al Partido Radical, fue diputado, presidente de la C\u00e1mara, embajador ante la Sociedad de Naciones y Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores. En 1934 fue elegido presidente de la Rep\u00fablica, pero no pudo tomar posesi\u00f3n del cargo debido al golpe militar dirigido por Jos\u00e9 Luis Tejada Sorzano. Tamayo dirigi\u00f3 el peri\u00f3dico El Hombre Libre y fund\u00f3 El F\u00edgaro.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/unifranz.edu.bo\/images\/noticias\/2017\/proyeccion-documental-franz-tamayo-lpz\/2.jpg\" alt=\"2\" style=\"border: 1px solid #515151;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Por su obra po\u00e9tica est\u00e1 considerado como el mejor representante del modernismo en Bolivia. Entre sus obras destacan: Odas (1898), Proverbios sobre el arte, la vida y la ciencia (1905), La Prometheida (1927), Scherzos (1932), Scopas (1939) y Epigramas griegos (1945).
